A long time ago (1919) Percival William Dyson started growing flowering bulbs, mainly Daffodils, to support his large family. Little did he know what a dynasty was to follow for the decades since then the Dyson family name is synonymous with bulb growing.
Grandson Ian along with wife Joy manage CLASSIC DAFFODILS. Ian’s love of Daffodils began at the age of 6 with a small collection purchased with saved pocket money. Over 60 years of swapping, buying and lately breeding we have over a million Daffodils of various types, colours and sizes from the large trumpet to the tiniest of miniatures.
Breeding has become a very serious consideration for the race is on in earnest to achieve an all pink or all red Daffodil. We already have some with tints of pink in the petals and bright pink or red coronas, but it takes great patience, experience, studies of parentage etc and of course time.
We can confidently offer you the very best Daffodils from all over the World. These have been extensively tested in our fields. Exhibition varieties also tested at Shows against all comers.
